For mere mortals, the arrival of a birthday is an excuse to celebrate/weep at the passing of another year. It's also a good time to do a quick check for grey hairs and liver spots. But these little quirks of time can be endearing and charming; maybe even more so when applied to classic cartoon characters.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22.5px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-top: 0.75em;">
Artist <a href="http://www.tarusov.com/" style="color: #00aeef; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Andrew Tarusov</a> took the idea of aging and applied it to usually ageless characters like Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, Tom, Jerry, Sylvester the Cat and Tweety Bird.</div>

A quick look, and it's clear that Minnie and Mickey make an even more dynamite duo when Minnie is sporting sensible heels, and Mickey looks like the rodent version of Larry King, with more swag.</div>

It makes it easier to imagine what it'd be like to have Daisy Duck slip you a $20 on your birthday, or Porky the Pig falling asleep with the TV on (again).</div>

Back in October 2012, Microsoft launched the Surface — a large tablet computer with a stylus and a cover that doubles as a keyboard. The amount of detail Watson got right is uncanny. LOS ANGELES — It's not going to be a Banner year for the Hulk.</div>

The Big Guy is just the latest Marvel superhero to change identities, the comic-book publisher announced Friday. He'll go from Bruce Banner to Amadeus Cho, a 19-year-old boy genius — and that's significant for a couple of reasons.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22.5px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-top: 0.75em;">
For one thing, Cho is Korean-American, making Hulk the latest superhero to undergo a race or gender change. He's following in the footsteps of the <a data-crackerjax="#post-slider" href="http://mashable.com/2015/08/14/ms-marvel-audio-book/" style="color: #00aeef; text-decoration: none;">Muslim Ms. Marvel</a>, <a data-crackerjax="#post-slider" href="http://mashable.com/2015/05/12/thor-female-identity-revealed/" style="color: #00aeef; text-decoration: none;">female Thor</a> and <a data-crackerjax="#post-slider" href="http://mashable.com/2014/07/17/marvels-next-captain-america-will-be-black/" style="color: #00aeef; text-decoration: none;">black Captain America</a>. And more changes are on the way as Marvel reboots its entire line for the <a data-crackerjax="#post-slider" href="http://mashable.com/2015/06/04/marvel-comics-reboot/" style="color: #00aeef; text-decoration: none;">"All-New, All Different" initiative</a> starting at the end of 2015.</div>

Perhaps more significant, however, is that unlike Banner — who despised turning into the rampaging Gamma monster — Cho is totally down for Hulkification.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22.5px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-top: 0.75em;">
"He's going to love every minute of it," said Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso. "In this new series, we are going to lean hard into the fantasy aspects of being the Hulk. It can’t be all bad, can it?"</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22.5px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-top: 0.75em;">
Like Banner, Cho is among the brainiest of the Marvel heroes. Introduced as a side character some 10 years ago, he is gifted with the ability to process information at an astonishing rate. Though there's some debate as to exactly where his intellect ranks, he's generally considered up there in the Top 10 with Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Hank Pym and Banner himself.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22.5px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-top: 0.75em;">
Cho's turn as the Jade Giant will also alter his title, which goes from "The Incredible Hulk" to "Totally Awesome Hulk" beginning with issue #1 this December. Longtime Hulk scribe Greg Pak will write, with artist Frank Cho drawing the standalone series.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22.5px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-top: 0.75em;">
And just like the female Thor <em>is</em> Thor — not lady-Thor — Cho's Hulk is considered to be the real, green, raging deal.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22.5px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-top: 0.75em;">
So what's happened to cause the Hulk to jump from Banner to Cho? The answer to that will come with the arrival of the books, which across the entire Marvel line will skip ahead eight months from the end of the current "Secret Wars" event.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22.5px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; margin-top: 0.75em;">
According to Marvel's release: "One thing is for certain — Amadeus Cho is a completely different kind of Hulk. Not tormented, not conflicted. Just a giant green wrecking machine who loves being the Hulk! What could possibly go wrong?"</div>
<figure class="image" style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22.5px; margin: 0px 0px 50px; position: relative;"><div style="padding: 0px;">

“The Red Widow is a powerful new female superhero for the Marvel universe,” said Stohl. “In many ways, she’s the opposite of the Black Widow—she actually chooses to become the Red Widow—but both Widows share a mysterious bond and a history, and will change the course of each other’s lives, moving forward. And of course, this is just the beginning for this enigmatic and deadly new character. Red Widow’s story first emerges within the pages of<strong style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Mockingbird: S.H.I.E.L.D. 50th Anniversary #1</strong>, and will then be featured in my upcoming (prose) novel, <em style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Black Widow: Forever Red</em>. I couldn’t be prouder of both Widows—and of Marvel Comics, for being so supportive of the two of them.”</div>

Floyd is one of <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD9" style="background-attachment: scroll !important; background-clip: initial !important; background-color: transparent !important; background-image: none !important; background-origin: initial !important; background-position: 0% 50%; background-repeat: repeat !important; background-size: initial !important; border-bottom-color: rgb(0, 153, 0) !important; border-bottom-style: solid !important; border-bottom-width: 1px !important; color: rgb(0, 153, 0) !important; cursor: pointer !important; display: inline !important; float: none !important; padding: 0px 0px 1px !important; position: static; text-decoration: underline !important;">the best</span> boxers of all time. He would definitely beat me in a <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD5" style="background-attachment: scroll !important; background-clip: initial !important; background-color: transparent !important; background-image: none !important; background-origin: initial !important; background-position: 0% 50%; background-repeat: repeat !important; background-size: initial !important; border-bottom-color: rgb(0, 153, 0) !important; border-bottom-style: solid !important; border-bottom-width: 1px !important; color: rgb(0, 153, 0) !important; cursor: pointer !important; display: inline !important; float: none !important; padding: 0px 0px 1px !important; position: static; text-decoration: underline !important;">boxing match</span>. I unfortunately don’t get into ‘matches’. I fight for a living. In a no rulesfight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet. Rousey has been verbally sparring with Mayweather since he claimed in a 2014 interview not to know who she was.</div>

Most famously, Rousey called out Floyd after she beat him to the ESPY Fighter of the Year award, while <a href="http://www.unilad.co.uk/video/ufc-brilliantly-responds-to-floyd-mayweathers-latest-comments-about-ronda-rousey/" style="-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; color: #d8bc31; outline: none; text-decoration: none; transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;" target="_blank">Floyd recently responded to those comments by talking about how much money he earns</a> (standard).</div>
