In its Q2 2015 earnings report, Samsung announced that it will keep sales momentum going for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge into the latter half of the year by "adjusting" their pricing:
While the IT & Mobile Communications (IM) Division is expected to face a difficult business environment, the sales momentum for high-end products will be maintained by adjusting the price of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge and introducing new premium smartphone models.

The new premium smartphone models are expected to be the Galaxy Note 5 andGalaxy S6 edge+, which will likely be unveiled at Samsung's upcoming Unpacked event from New York on August 13.

Samsung didn't mention when it will initiate the price change, but with the latest sales figures from Strategy Analytics showing the manufacturer losing market share during the last quarter, it will likely be sooner rather than later.
