Austin Mahone may have started a rumor about Kylie Jenner… but he totally didn’t mean to.
The “Dirty Work” singer is going back on any dust he might’ve scuffed up on “Watch What Happens Live” when he implied that the newly 18-year-old Kardashian crashed her Ferrari. But he told People at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night that he was mistaken.
“I was at the party and I saw she got a Ferrari,” Mahone told the mag, referring to the $320,000 Ferrari 482 Italia boyfriend Tyga gifted her. “And then a couple hours later I saw on Twitter and I saw like the same Ferrari, like the same color, and it was all smashed up and like everyone was going crazy on Twitter like ’Oh, Kylie crashed her Ferrari’ and I was like ’Oh, no way.’ ”
Easy mistake, right? It’s hard to avoid Internet gossip when it’s so juicy.
“Classic starting rumors online,” he said. “I’m sorry if I started a rumor. I didn’t mean to. That’s what happened but she told me that she didn’t crash it so … her Ferrari’s fine, everything’s good.”
Glad that’s finally cleared up!
