In July, we did a bit of detective work—yeah, when we’re not writing about style we’re solving mysteries, NBD—and discovered that Kylie Jenner had trademarked “Kylie’s Lip Kit…For The Perfect Pout.”
While filing the trademark didn’t necessarily mean Kylie was working on any sort of lip product, an Instagram caption from last night (Aug. 16) seems to suggest that something exciting is, in fact, on its way.
Sooo, the caption accompanying this, um, rather dramatic Sunday night look reads “Brown lips 
#KylieLipKit stay tuned 
.” Oh, girl, we are staying tuned. We’ve been tuned in ever since we uncovered the possibility of a Kylie-approved lipstick and you know we are eagerly anticipating whatever this is.

Kylie’s makeup artist—Hrush Achemyan—appears to have revealed even more 411, sharing this photo of Kylie with the caption “Montreal Nights with @kyliejenner lippy coming soon.” OKKKK, so we can expect at least one brown lipstick? What else, though?! We’re on the edge of our seats over here.
While we are excited to see what exactly #KylieLipKit includes, we’re not totally convinced we’ll find out any time soon—Kylie has, after all, been teasing upcoming makeup tutorials since February.
Maybe the tutorials and kit will launch together? Fingers crossed.
