This will break every One Direction fan’s heart. After Zayn Malik, 22, got into a spat with Calvin Harris, 31, on Twitter over initially dissing his lady Taylor Swift, 25, Louis Tomlinson, 23, put his two cents in by defending — gasp — Calvin! Grab your tissues when you see this one.
Is there bad blood between Zayn and Louis? After Calvin went on a heated rant defending Taylor’s decision to take her music off Spotify, Louis favorited one of Calvin’s tweets! Cue our jaws dropping to the floor. The tweet said: “@FemaleTexts @zaynmalik You’ve made your money? Cool…F–k the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive right? Yeah f–k em.” WHOA. Perhaps Louis is just kidding though, and even making a joke out of the petty feud.
The feud began after Zayn retweeted an article supporting Miley Cyrus, 22, for her decision to release her next album for free, in comparison to Taylor, who took her music off Spotify. This struck a chord in Calvin, because he defended how she’s using her celebrity status to benefit musicians that actually need to make money. Clearly, Louis is team Talvin on this one.
We have to say, Louis dissing Zayn is a bit surprising! HollywoodLife.com told you that Zayn was leaning on Louis for support since breaking up with Perrie Edwards, 22. Plus, Louis set the record straight himself that there was no bad blood with Zayn when he confirmed that 1D’s single “Drag Me Down” was not about their former bandmate. Unfortunately, Zayn and Louis have feuded before. Zayn took his former friend Naughty Boy’s side in a heated Twitter war against Louis after the producer dissed One Direction. Perhaps Louis is giving Zayn a taste of his own medicine. Either way, Zayn and Louis should really talk this one out!
