If you're a fan of the Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga games consoles, then this smartphone should be one to look out for. It's an Android handset that bears the Commodore logo on the back. Fire it up, and you'll find it has the C64 and Amiga emulators pre-installed, so you can play classic titles like Lemmings and Another World on a 5.5-inch touchscreen. Ace!
The handset will come with the Vice 64 and Uae4All2-SDL Amiga emulators. The makers are said to be working to bring the most iconic games to the handset before it goes on sale later this month, according to Wired.
Two Italian entrepreneurs now own the Commodore trademark, though they have no affiliation with the original company which closed more than 20 years ago.
Gaming aside, it's a well-specced phone. It's powered by a 1.7GHz 64-bit octa-core chip, with an ARM Mali T760 graphics chip, up to 3GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery. It will also have a 13-megapixel main camera that also shoots 1080p videos, and an 8-megapixel front-facer.
It should be very affordable too, costing around £190. We'll let you know when it hits the UK.
